In Japan the main way of travelling is by boat, this method was chosen because the Japanese found it extremely diffucult climbing up the rocky terrain. Soon after boats boats became a very popular industry in Japan they invented the ferry which carried hundreds of passengers where they wanted to go. As time passed their technology improved so they built the bullet train which reaches speeds up to 200 km\h.

Transport in the Philippines is quite different to Japan. The people living there use scooters to get where they want. The roads aren't that good because of the mountainous conditions, and the wet/windy weather. In the Philippines there is a form of transport called "The Jeepney" this is a highly decorated taxi with lights placed everywhere. It is also covered in gold and silver jewellry.

Indonesian transport is amazing...and dangerous!!, in | Denpasar there is traffic jams at 2a.m. The roads are hugely populated so 3\4 of the population use scooters too. The other 1\4 use "bimos" which is a "suped" up taxi.
